After a decade of managing projects in sustainable agriculture, Genevieve spent 8 years as a turnaround executive for nonprofits in the economic development and housing spaces.
During the pandemic, she created a childcare center inside of a family homeless shelter that serves 200 children each year.
She has trained 100+ low-income childcare

She has trained 100+ low-income childcare entrepreneurs in Oregon, managed public-private facilities, and fulfilled fiduciary responsibilities in executive roles.
Genevieve grew up in a Spanish-English bilingual household in rural northern California and later in Silicon Valley. Her father's family is from Stevens County, WA & Lake County, OR. She speaks Spanish and Danish.
As a mom of 2 kids who had to change providers 12 times in 9 years, she lost 3 years of gross wages due to the childcare market failure. Genevieve pays $30,000 per year for childcare to able to work full time.

As a nonprofit microenterprise developer for 10 years, Mona provided small business technical assistance to over 1500 entrepreneurs in Oregon. She has helped hundreds of childcare providers launch and grow businesses, access capital, and navigate the complexities of a heavily regulated industry.
A native Oregonian, Mona grew up in Portlan

A native Oregonian, Mona grew up in Portland, worked in Salem for many years, and now resides in rural central Oregon.
Mona was a small business owner for 30 years, is a church pastor, and a proud great grandmother.
